You know far more than you know you know.

Never ask, "Can I do this?  Ask instead, "How can I do this?"

 --Dan Zadra

I have enjoyed reading motivational books for many years now.  Back in the mid 90's, I worked for a mortgage company in the sales department.  I was fortunate to have a boss who was a very positive person.  He carried around a copy of the book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill in his briefcase.  He referred to the book as his "sales bible".   He purchased copies of the book for all the employees in the sales department.  Every Monday morning the department gathered to discuss a chapter in the "Think and Grow Rich" book.  It was a great way to start the work week.

Since that time, I have read many motivational books.  I often find myself missing our mastermind meetings.  Listening to others discuss what they got from a chapter or how it impacted their life was very interesting.  I gained so much more from the book than what I do just reading on my own.  Recently a friend emailed me to thank me for recommending a book.  We emailed back and forth a few times and I mentioned to her that having a book study group would be nice, but with busy schedules it is hard for people to take time away from work or home.  This is how the idea of an online study group came to be and evolved into creating a forum where people could come at their own convenience.  And so....Motivational Connections was born.

I hope you enjoy this site and it helps you achieve your own personal definition of success.
